I like to let my kids go barefoot. Unfortunately, since Joe hasn't figured out how to pedal yet, he tools around the driveway Flinstone style, which tears up those big toes.
Lori sent me here to read your post on gardening. I had just added a post on gardening to my blog a couple days ago; it's a very popular subject in the spring. :) My son, too, loves "walking with bare feet". He's had accidental incidents with wasps, thorns, stickers and the like... Why doesn't this deter him from "walking with bare feet"? My only answer: he's a boy. :) You have a cute little boy...with cute little-boy toes.
ow, ow, ow, owie. Isaac has ruined 4 pair of shoes now riding his big wheel flintstone style... he has even worn all the way through his socks once, but fortunately, not hurt toes.
