...over the design of a chicken coop/tractor.
Some one is giving me their 5 chickens (two of which are Polish mop-heads!) and I am trying to get it together and build something for them before I pick them up.
I am thinking too hard about it, but if I don't, I am afraid it will end up an unstable disaster.

Yay! I'm glad you decided to get them! I don't know if it would work the same for full grown chickens, but when we got our chicks we kept them enclosed in the shed for a couple of weeks. With food and water, obviously. But after that we could let them out and they've always stayed close by and come in at night on their own. I don't know if it was because they were chicks or not, but it was just a thought.
